La historia de un producto no tiene por qué terminar después de su primer uso. Alargar su vida útil y favorecer su reutilización es prioritario para aprovechar mejor los recursos.
Sin embargo, la tasa actual de reutilización se sitúa en torno al 4 %, frente a un potencial de hasta el 85 %.
Esta brecha supone una importante pérdida de valor de los materiales, emisiones de CO₂ evitables y la eliminación prematura de productos.
La circularidad empieza por cambiar nuestra forma de entender el ciclo de vida de los productos. No se trata solo de producir y consumir, sino también de aprovechar el valor de lo que ya existe.
